OBS Freezes when playing Thrones and Liberty

Hello, I installed Thrones and Liberty and when I try to stream OBS freezes completely. My OBS is brand new since I just started and it has no plugins or overlays.

The game has no issues at all, zero lag or freeze. Only OBS get stack and I have to ctrl+alt+del to close it.

When I play Apex or WoW I have no issues with OBS at all.

Any tips or feedback would be helpfull.

I don't have any tips or advice but I just found this page while googling the same problem. I made an account just to say that you are not alone. If I find a solution, I'll post it here

Try playing the game in Borderless or Windowed mode. I can't tell if this is placebo but I didn't have a problem for 2 days and I just noticed my settings were reset to Fullscreen. I was able to replicate the freeze by alt tabbing in a crowded city of T&L when it was in Fullscreen. I haven't replicated it in Borderless

I still have the same problem. I believe that the main problem I have is that my PC got old. My CPU hits 100% when I try to do both.

Yeah so i just got another crash while playing Diablo 4 which makes me believe its not the game (so it may be something else for you as well). Have you uploaded your log file here for analysis? https://obsproject.com/tools/analyzer

It told me I had Hardware-Accelerated GPU Scheduling enabled in Windows settings and that it can cause crashes. I have disabled it now and hoping it fixed it
