OBS Freezes Entire Computer

I'm trying to run OBS on my laptop (Ryzen 7, 24G RAM, SSD, 4G NVidia). Whenever I run it, within a few minutes, the HDD light begins blinking (twice per second) and the entire system freezes. Sometimes it recovers and sometimes it doesn't. Would anyone have experienced/solved this in their pasts?

Check how the memory usage is behaving during this scenario. It sounds like RAM is getting full... starting to swap and dying due to no more ram.
