Question / Help OBS FPS drops when using window capture

Not sure whether this is a bug or not, but using window captures drops my FPS inside OBS Studio only. I remove the window captures and the fps shoots right back up to 30. I've tried different codecs, changing all sorts of settings and nothing else seems to affect the fps other than just turning those window captures off. Any help figuring this out would be fantastic.
