Question / Help OBS fps drops over time

Hello,

I stream paladins regularly at 60 FPS and downscaled from 1920x1080 to 720p. My issue is, as I start my stream my OBS reads 60fps solid and around 4% CPU usage. Over time that CPU usage slowly creeps up until around the 10-12% mark the FPS drops to about 55, and then steadily drops until I'm at 15-16% CPU usage and 30fps.

The fix I have currently is just closing and re-opining OBS which fixes the issue for another hour or so until it happens again.

Specs:

i7 6700
GTX 1080

I stream via NVENC, and can post screenshots if needed? Couldn't find a problem similar to mine in search.

post a log with your issue. Make sure it has a stream/recording in it (stream/record for a few minutes with the settings you are getting the problem with) then stop and wait a few seconds close OBS then reopen and upload last log.
 
Try updating OBS, if you are still having the problem in the newest version, it might be caused by memory leaks.
