Hello, Alright so my OBS runs perfectly fine on any game as long as I lock the fps with vsync now that is okay for most games so I normally do but I notice that not many other people have this problem if any. Basically when I turn vsync off on a game I will using rainbow 6: seige as a example I get between 150-230 fps but the fps on obs drops to like 15-30 fps and then goes up to 45 and such sometimes it basically is all over the place while my game is perfectly fine and my computer is not even close to being at full usage. I have tried many things like using x265 encoder and I have tried using the nvidia one they both have the same problem.
I stream at 60 fps on a 1080p monitor but I downscale the stream to 720p, my bitrate is 3500, I also have tried changing obs priority from each of them.
System specs:
I7 4790k
Gigabyte gtx 1080
32gb of ddr3 1600 or 1800 memory not sure
Obs runs off my SSD boot drive while the game is on my hard drive
My internet speed is around 90 download and 12 upload I stream and game in the same PC
