Question / Help OBS for OS X won't detect Elgato HD60

I have a Macbook Pro and Elgato HD60. Im trying to stream using OBS, my webcam is up but the software will not find my Elgato hardware when trying to add it to a scene. please help.

Elgato doesn't provide drivers for third-party software like OBS. You can't add it directly as a video capture device, you'll need to use window or display capture on the Elgato software instead.
