Hello, I am a regular YouTube streamer. I have been using OBS to stream on youtube for a few months now. But since about 5 days ago, obs studio has been constantly failing to stream on youtube. I checked my connection and its working absolutely fine. I have reset my computer thinking there might be some kind of virus or something. But It still doesn't help. It sends some data for a few secods to youtube and then its stops but nothing shows up on the stream to people. I tried using gameshow just to rectify the problem in my computer, and there is absolutely no problem streaming using Gameshow. But Gameshow uses up too much of my computer resources and makes my computer very slow which turns up to laggy gameplay. I want to use OBS just as before.

My Computer Specs:
Intel Core(TM) i5-3230 M CPU @ 2.60Ghz 2.60
4 GB RAM
Graphics: AMD Radeon HD 8600M Series (2 GB)

Any help is much appreciated. Thank you!

here we go
1. dont stream over wireless - it fails almost always. use ethernet cable to connect to modem
2. make sure obs runs on your amd card, not the intel hd - dem laptops ^^
3. you will kill this cpu with x264 almost for sure or make it unusable in game at least. use Quicksync encoder instead (CBR, target quality, profile high, keyframe=2) and install lastest driver for it https://downloadcenter.intel.com/do...ows-10-and-Windows-7-8-1-15-33-?product=81499
when updating driver you may need to run DDU to prevent crash loop - info in my signature
4. install CoreAudio because its very nice - info in my signature
5. your video tab looks strange - base resolution 1366x768 and output 1364x768. make it 1280x720 for output. no output tab scaling
6 .vsync in game always on
7. enjoy

Hello,

* I made sure OBS is running on my AMD card
* Changed all the settings mentioned in your 3rd point except for I used the Intel Driver Update Utility to update my driver and I couldn't understand DDU
* I looked up CoreAudio and it appears that CoreAudio is only for Mac computers and not windows. Please guide me if I am not looking in the right place.
* Made all the changes in the video tab concerning resolution and scaling.

After doing all this, I tried to stream and it did improve something such as stream at least shows something but then again, it goes offline after about every 10-15 seconds for 2-5 seconds. I was still trying to stream using WiFi. So I took the ethernet cable off my modem and plugged it in my laptop to avoid any doubts. But the result was still the same as it was with the WiFi.

As I conclude, the only things I didn't do as you suggested are CoreAudio and DDU. Please suggest what more I could do.

Thank you.

coreaudio - download Apple iTunes installer, but do not run it. Extract the archive with winrar or 7zip and run both 32bit and 64bit installers called AppleApplicationSupport.msi
are you running obs as admin? you need to
when you connected ethernet cable, did you disable your wifi network connection to make windows use new wired one?
can you try to stream to twitch to verify how it goes? choose best twitch server with this neat tool http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/tech-support/326034-jtvping-find-your-best-twitchtv-server
