Ive had OBS open and close with settings intact the last 4 years and suddenly this morning everything has been factory reset as if nothing ever existed. This forum posted a year ago brought me here, AS it is my problem but They had no success because OP he is right...No one seems to understand the problem. https://obsproject.com/forum/thread...aults-by-itself-deleting-all-settings.164342/ and frankly i expect the same general responses this guy got. Someone wants to say that nothing just HAPPENS, you have to select the thing to do it...like as if code is perfect and the possibility of BUGS IS NIL. Anyone who has ever touched computer language knows thats impossible.
My problem is this, simply put. From the original set up of OBS streamlabs 5/7/2018 until 12/8/2023 OBS opened and closed with the same Scenes, captures, audio graphs, As of today 12/09/2023, I opened it, its asked me what platform id like to stream on, I connect, I go into the program. Only scene collection is there, Cant capture anything, or mix audio. Close/open/connect/into program 2x, same result. Close/open/connect/into program 3x, I can now capture video, and mix audio, i set up the video game capture for the game, n for A test, close/open to see if these choices stuck, have to connect, n once in the programs fundamental operations, its still factory reset.
Now if someone decides to say that In my act of closing stream labs last night VS 5 years of doing it the same exact fashion of just closing it same some how PRESSED 10 EXTRA BUTTONS...(i dont even know im guessing how many clicks it takes in order to factory reset streamlabs) N thats why my streamlabs is resetting. Clearly youre just a troll. Just as the replies in the mentioned above post.
