Hello, I need help with Obs I mainly use it for recording some games. I have a pretty good computer with my processor being 8th Generation 6 Core Intel Core i7 8750H and my graphics card Being the Gtx 1070. I record at 1080p 60 fps with my bitrate at 12000 and video format mp4 recording at High quality. My encoder is x264 and every time I try to record Minecraft, Valorant whatever game it says encoding overload my profile is also at quality, and most games I record are just roblox, valorant, Minecraft, and some other games. Solutions or fixes, please I have also lowered the quality to 480p 30fps and it still says encoding overload help please

Search this forum and you'll find LOTS of postings about why NOT to record to MP4 (remux afterwards if need be)
Why are you not using NVENC?

real-time video encoding is demanding
If I gather correctly, you've chosen a CPU based encoding, on top of OS and gameplay... with only a laptop (lower power than desktop equivalent) 6c CPU?? Is that Quicksync encoding you are trying to use? [sorry, not my area]
