OBS, Elgato, Chat Link Pro, Discord

Ok, so this isn’t really an issue at all thus I have no log for it. It’s more of a question/s because I’m trying to do something that I’m unsure can be done and looking for advice.

I currently stream using OBS with the ELGATO HD60X capture card. I use chat link pro to be able to direct my game audio from PS5 and Switch to my headphones while allowing the game audio to be captured in OBS. My first problem is that I don’t want to use chat link pro anymore because I am trying to be able to use voice chat through Discord which for some reason cannot be routed to my headphones while using chat link pro. If there is indeed a way to do this, please let me know as I was told it can’t be done.

My other issue is that if I’m not using chat link pro then how can I keep doing what I’m doing? Is there a way to capture game audio in OBS while having it output to my headphones for me to hear without using the chat link pro?

Furthermore, if I am indeed able to accomplish this how can I get OBS to capture the discord audio? I don’t necessarily need the audio of my friends captured for my stream but it would be nice so viewers can hear and know who I am talking to. Mostly, I just need to have my game audio and mic captured in OBS via the card (as I already do) while having the game audio played in my headphones (once again, as I currently do) but with the added benefit of being able to hear my discord chat as well.

I also know that with PS5 you can create voice channels and I thought maybe (but am unsure) that the card would capture all of the voice chat through the PS5 itself. The only problem with this is that I don’t want to use the controller mic as it has no noise cancellation and I cant have things like a fan on without it being too loud for my friends, and I’m pretty sure I can’t use my external mic via the PS5 - thus discord would have to be the one.

I apologize if this is confusing - I am still learning a whole lot about OBS and streaming in general so I might not explain things gracefully enough. I do appreciate any help that can be offered. Thank you.
