So what i have been seeing is that every time i stream after an hour i get a notification on my stream PC that "OBS has suddenly crashed" but the stream still works except the Elgato audio doesn't work.

Everything else works. The stream is still on and viewers can hear my microphone and the music the only thing that doesn't work is the Elgato sounds, and after i click yes on the message then the stream crashes too and obs exits.

Can someone please help me! I'm going insane with this problem.

I have the exact same problem, tried uninstalling and reinstalling obs/elgato, tried rolling both back, tried uninstalling and reinstalling c++ redistributable, reinstalled amd gfx drivers nothing so far has worked, pulling hair out here right now but that hasn't worked either.

Edit, oh yeah and when it crashes it leaves obs64.exe running as a background process in task manager and end task has no effect on it, this means a pc reboot to get obs running again, rinse and repeat.

Edit2: just ran obs without streaming and it crashed after about 55 mins.

Edit3: just ran the elgato software to stream and it also crashed the stream after 55 mins, wonderful at least we seem to be narrowing it down

Edit 4: Found out that its the elgato software that is failing, tried to roll back to the beta which worked for me but it will no longer work, so I've rolled back to the last version of 3.5 and so far no crashes but I'll keep reporting here over the next few days.

Edit 5: rolling back to the last elgato version of 3.5 has stopped the crashing for me for now.
