I love the software lots of control and outputs constant framerate (no endless file conversions in handbrake needed for uploading to my channel.) However I bench marked my game with no recording and with OBS active and found out it was deleting 30 fps from my games, shadowplay on the other hand barely had a registered impact. I just cant justify using OBS considering I play mostly competitively and this is stopping me from utilizing my 144 hz monitor for what it was meant for (without OBS I can reach about 120 fps, so pretty close to my monitors limit, it is at the very least Double 60 fps).

Can anyone help me with this, how can i reduce the frame impact OBS is having on my game???

I am happy to answer any questions.

So your GPU can't hold a steady 144 FPS for your 144 Hz monitor, meaning it's most likely maxed out, meaning OBS performance will tank. You need to be able to maintain a steady frame rate in the game without hitting 100% utilization on your GPU. That means either setting a lower FPS cap in the game or turning down the in-game settings.
