OBS Drops Frames And Lags When I Open a Game

Hey, it has been months, I've tweaked multiple settings and gotten advice from discord servers and just google in general but still running into this problem. This happens even if I am not streaming and just have obs open in general.

If I have obs open and then open a game, obs starts to drop frames, and the whole app starts lagging, wavering down to 10 fps back to 30 fps and then down again. The only fix I have found to this is closing obs and re-opening it and it is working fine. My only issue with this is I have to end stream to do it and it's just a bit annoying. I'm running a 5600x and a 3070 so I'm sure it can handle it.
Does anyone know something I can do to fix this issue?

1. Run OBS as admin. Right click on shortcut, properties, advanced, check box, ok, apply, ok.
2. Create a new Scene Collection with 1 Scene with 1 Game Capture source, no filters.
3. Uncheck the box for Psycho Visual Tuning.
4. Close and restart OBS so it loads straight to the new scene collection.

If still having this issue, disable/uninstall StreamElements. If still having this issue after that, post new log.

did everything and re installed obs and it was fine at first but it started dropping frames again

You are running the 32 bit version of OBS on a 64 bit system. This will reduce performance and greatly increase the risk of crashes due to memory limitations. You should only use the 32 bit version if you have a capture device that lacks 64 bit drivers. Please run OBS using the 64-bit shortcut as admin. Right click on the 64-bit shortcut, properties, advanced, check box, ok, apply, ok.

installed the 64-bit version. still having frame drops and lag :/

Switch back to your 1 source scene collection and cap your games at 60 FPS if not already doing so.
