OBS Dropped Frames

So I’ve tried to fix my OBS settings over and over again and watched multiple video but I can’t seem to find why my videos are running at 5 FPS Max all the time. I can’t seem to get the 60 FPS settings that I set in the video settings. I’ve also tried 30 though the same problem occurs. Can someone please help me find a solution and help me get a 1080p 60 FPS recording. because many of my recordings have just gone to waste and I’ve had to delete them.
My output settings are:

Recording Quality: Indistinguishable Quality, Large File Size

Recording Format: ts

Encoder: Software (x264 low CPU usage preset, increases file size)

Video settings are:

Base resolution: 1920x1080
Output resolution: 1280x720

integer FPS value: 60

My computer is a 2020 MacBook Air 13 inches.

Thanks!

Will it work with 30fps?
Have you tried setting .mkv as output format?
Have you tried using the Apple Hardware encoder, or do you not get that option?
Is it an M1 Macbook or Intel?
Have you tried creating a new scene setup with only a minimum of sources? Start with just one video device.
(I am by no means an expert.)
