Question / Help OBS doesnt't connect blackmagic (randomly)

I'm using the ultrastudio mini recorder which sometimes OBS detects quickly and I can see the preview of both image and audio that is being captured.

But sometimes (Randomly) it doesn't work. I just see a black screen. Any explanation? Now I've been testing for an hour (re-starting my mac/OBS/camara/letting the recorder cool down etc) but still I don't get the capture.

Someone had this problem ? All the settings should be ok - 'cause it was working before. Thanks!!

I'm using a MacBook Air
4 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
1.6 GHz Intel Core i5
Intel HD Graphics 6000 1536 MB
 
Mine (Intensity Shuttle) has always been unreliable. Sometimes just switching USB ports helps, sometimes a restart helps. Affects not just OBS, but most software that accesses the Intensity, including BlackMagic's own software.
