Question / Help OBS doesn't recognize my mic?

Hey, I'm sorry if someone has posted about this already but I need help connecting my mic to OBS so I can stream and so people can hear my voice. I do not have a USB mic, I am using a SHURE Beta 87A mic that is plugged into my Universal Apollo Quad UAD 2 (Soundboard). The reason I'm asking for help is because my Mac reads and recognizes the mic and the sound board and I could record my voice for studio purposes and also on audacity to save my voice recordings to upload gameplay on YouTube. But when I try and stream with it, OBS reads that my Universal Apollo is ON but when I click it on the Mic/Auxiliary audio device, it won't record my voice and you cannot hear my voice on the stream.. Can someone help me?

this a picture that shows that OBS Sees my Apollo is an option to choose for a Mic but it doesn't actually allow me to use it. To give you more information; my mic is connected using an XLR chord which connects to the bottom of my mic and it connects to my Apollo UAD 2 and that is how i am able to use it. Does OBS only allow USB mics?? or is it possible for my mic to work?

What do you use to record your mic for "studio" purposes? GarageBand? You can always bring your mic into GB and then make the output send to Soundflower, and then set OBS input as Soundflower. Basically catching all audio from GB.

I'm a producer before a streamer, so I use Logic X, and can have up to 6 mics plus background music streaming all at once.
