OBS doesn't prevent lockscreen

Hello together!

I am using Fedora 41 with OBS 31.0.0. I have got this issue for a few months now, so I sadly can't narrow down which exact version worked the last time...

So, I'm mainly using OBS to play on my Nintendo Switch via an internal capture card, the Blackmagic Intensity 4K. OBS is the most convenient way for me to play via this card.
Without recording and just using the fullscreen projector, I play my games. However, due to the lack of input for the PC (mouse, keyboard), the lockscreen gets active after a few minutes. This behaviour didn't happen in the past...
So, my current workaround is to temporarily disable my lockscreen in the system settings, and enable it again after my gaming session.

My expected behaviour is that the fullscreen projector should count as a normal fullscreen application like games, which would prevent the system from locking the screen.

I found an old thread, but this one wasn't really helping. As far as I understand, OBS used to render all the time which prevented sleep? Doesn't it do that anymore? I could be on a wrong track here, though.
