I cannot get my Elgato Game Capture HD to work with OBS. Currently trying to stream some composite input (NES). I know the signal getting the Elgato is fine because if I open the Elgato capture software, it shows up fine. In OBS, I have configured the video correctly for the input signal as well. It has worked ONCE a few weeks ago. Today the best I got was a single frozen image from the input. Restarting OBS, deactivate and reactivate, unplugging the capture card and plugging in again, rebooting my PC, all have been unsuccessful in correcting this problem.
But it usually has problems finding my webcam at first. Unplugging the cam and plugging in again works sometimes. Sometimes reactivating, or messing with the properties of the webcam within OBS kicks it into gear. Not sure if this is one issue or two separate.
For the record, OBS has no problem picking up an emulator window on my PC.
