OBS doesnt pick up music from vlc.

Okay guys. I am new to the streaming and at the start i have a problem.
I have 24/7 stream but cant configure it properly. I use VLC as an audio player and obs as a video and Stream Music Displayer to display track names
When I try to use Add VLC Source and I add files or folders, OBS play the musuc but its completely ignoring VLC. I can even stop the music on vlc but sound goin on obs anyway.
Now when I make VLC source visible it play the music but stop when I hide it. I Use vlc source in Audio Mixed window in OBS audio and rest of them- video, micro and sound are muted.
How to properly set it up to get the music from vlc and control (play, stop etc? the music from VLC? Thanks.

The vlc media source within OBS is independent from the standalone vlc media player. They don't know anything from each other. If you use the vlc media source and add music tracks to the playlist within its properties, the music is played through OBS and can be directly streamed. There are limited controls to start and stop playing, but usually this is sufficient.

If you use the vlc media player, it can be captured by OBS like any other app. Its music is captured by OBS through the audio device vlc is outputting its music. This way it's no different to capturing some app that creates audio.

What they have in common is the *.dll's. The vlc media source within OBS is using the dlls of vlc to decode and play the music. The advantage to the ordinary media source of OBS is that vlc is able to play more media formats.

Well I started the stream on my PC and when i normally used the music from vlc, the sound was so poor, like it had no base. When i added vlc source and the same music, the sound quality was great. Is there any way to fix it?

Looks like there is a problem with VLC sending so poor quality music if vlc source from obs can play the same music it nicely. Thank you for the reply but do you know how can I fix the soind quality problem with vlc player music? It sounds like from old headphones... :/
