So my OBS rescently just would not work, like 2 weeks ago or so it would not open or run at all. i've re-started comp, re-installed obs, ran as administrator, looked at the files. i've done everything i know of and it just won't run. Can i get help? I want to get back to streaming but this is proving to be an issue.

Can you grab a manual log?
Go to %APPDATA%\obs-studio\log and copy the contents of the desired log file to https://gist.github.com/. Copy the url and paste it here.

The settings should still have been present if you did not remove them when you uninstalled. However, the obs-studio folder should be generated immediately on launch of OBS if it's not present, so sounds like you might have some overly aggressive antivirus blocking OBS from functioning normally.
