I am having an issue in which OBS doesn't work at all. I launch it but quite simply nothing happens, no process in the task manager and no log is created in %AppData%\obs-studio\logs which leaves me with only the event viewer log to go by.
I have ran a system file checker scan, scanned the registry, reinstalled .NET, and reinstalled OBS multiple times to no avail. I am at a loss.
Event viewer log:

EDIT:
I am running the latest version of OBS studio.
Here are my specs, just in case this is relevant to the issue.
Windows 10 Pro 64-bit
Intel Core i5 4590 @ 3.30GHz
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970
Gigabyte G1.Sniper B6-CF
16.0GB Single-Channel DDR3
EDIT 2:
I have found a workaround to this issue by using OBS in portable mode. I can avoid the issue this way but still would like to find a solution.
