OBS Doesn't Always Detect Mic

Hello all,
TLDR skip to the bottom.

So I made the decision to use a Blue Yeti X mic. It's a great mic, with one exception. The connection interface is a usb. This means that if I use a mic boom (or even if I use the stand it comes with) and move it around at all, now and then it comes unplugged just enough to not be detected for a fraction of a second. The more you know.
So, here's my problem. All of my other applications detect the mic automatically when this happens, so I don't even notice that it was momentarily unplugged. OBS isn't like that. I record videos and the first time it happened I had dozens of hours of footage recorded without noticing that OBS wasn't recording my mic anymore (I know, it's my own fault for not checking that things were working).
It says my mic is not detected or not available even after it is plugged back in. I'm not really sure what I do to get it working again. Sometimes it lets me select my mic as soon as I go into the settings and sometimes the mic isn't even in the list when I know it's plugged in and working (talking to people in Discord).
It isn't as much of a problem now that I know that it happens, but it's still a little annoying.

Anyway, is there a way to get OBS to auto detect my mic if it is momentarily unplugged?

Thank you
