Question / Help OBS does not detect the catcher elgato, what do I do?

I have an elgato capture, I have tried to configure it but it is not detected by OBS.
Most of the options are for windows and I use Mac.

Elgato direct capture isn't available on OBS on macOS because Elgato doesn't publish drivers for 3rd party use. Instead, use Window / Display capture from Elgato Game Capture to bring in OBS

Or the OBS Link application and the OBS NDI plugin.

Or return the Elgato and get a device from a manufacturer that provides proper MacOS drivers: Magewell, BlackMagic, AJA.
