obs display capture freezing when tabbing back into fullscreen game

ok so this is my first post and i made my account to solve this problem ive had. when i click onto fullscreen tabs of a game my recording freezes on the first frame of the game. ive done some trial and error and have been unable to replicate the bug but ive had it accidentally happen twice and i dont know what causes. after it happened the first time i tried updating my obs since i assumed it mustve been a glitch ironed out since my version that i probably downloaded in 2022(?) but i had it still happen

if you need more info i can try to get it for you but i use display capture and my game is fullscreen borderless and i use windows 10. here is a video of the glitch happening as soon as my recording starts: https://youtu.be/C6bmHGMNCPA (YES its horribly compressed but i deleted the video and had to redownload it from discord dms with a friend who couldnt figure out how to fix it)

Remove Display Capture and use Game or Window Capture to capture your games. If still having issues then

OBS Studio creates a log file each time you run it which contains very useful diagnostic information. Without a log file, it's much harder for any support volunteers to figure out problems and your post may be ignored. To upload a log file, go to the Help menu > Log Files > Upload Last Log...

alright ill try using game capture instead, if i have any more problems ill post here with the log thing, i didnt know i could do that previously
