I stream on twitch and have been having this issue for the last week. After exactly two hours of streaming, obs will disconnect, but my internet and game is doing just fine. Anyone have any idea why this could be happening?

My buddy has the same problem lol every 2hrs & 4 mins his stream disconnects & reconnects. He thinks it might be his Modem. The only people I see with this issue is people with a after market modem. Maybe there is a setting on the modem that needs to be enabled or disabled. Just a thought.

but there is nothing wrong with my internet. My game does not disconnect and continues to run fine. Same with just the overall internet connection on my pc. It is only OBS that disconnects

Yeah Not too sure if my buddy finds a fix for his Ill let you know. Also an OBS update just got released maybe that will fix it.

It is entirely possible for an ISP, either intentionally or unintentionally, to reset a particular connection on a specific port without disconnecting everything, especially if they see what they consider to be excessive traffic on that specific port.
This used to be a more common activity in years past but it doesn't mean an ISP isn't doing it.
