OBS disconnecting reconnecting

Hello and thanks for reading

When going to Facebook Live, my OBS is disconnecting and reconnecting more or less continuously, like every 10-15 seconds or so. Hopefully there is something obvious and easy I can fix, but hey whatever it takes, any help very much appreciated. :)

My iMac is High Sierra 10.13.6
2.7 GHz Intel Core i5
8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3

I'm using:

OBS 25.0.8 (64bit)
Logic Pro X version 10.4.4
Soundflower
Facebook Live

I just found an answer to my problem on another forum. It says only Mojave and Catalina are supported. I'm getting the feeling I could've looked this up on this forum somewhere, though I also believe that's the first thing I would've tried to do a month ago when I joined here and created this topic.
