OBS did not shut down properly... Run in Safe Mode?

When I go to start OBS, I get the message "OBS did not shut down properly during your last session. Would you like to start in Safe Mode (third-party plugins, scripting, and WebSockets disabled)?" Then it gives me two options: "Run in Safe Mode" or "Run normally". Earlier, I could get it to start with either option. Now, I cannot get it to start at all. I have gone onto the forum page's for both Windows and Mac (I have a macbook pro). Windows has a solution, which is to write a script (which I have no experience with). Macbook has no solution (the person who asked the question never uploaded a log, so no solution was given). I believe a secondary problem has come from this too: When I could get it started, it would not record, due to "low disc space." I had the record path set to a 1TB hardrive that had 994GB available, so I don't think I actually have low disc space.

maybe you can try this command in shell:
/Applications/OBS.app/Contents/MacOS/OBS --disable-shutdown-check
