Long story short, OBS detects my Elgato Capture HD (the original model), yet the audio and video doesn't show up on the program at all. Even worse, when I try to configure the settings, all of it is grey.
However, when I open up the Elgato Game Capture software, it's detected no problem, and the audio and video runs through as it should. When I close the EGC, I also make sure to kill the background process so that OBS is free to use the device again, yet it refuses to do anything.
On a probably related note, every so often I get a message saying "OBS has crashed!" but the program runs perfectly, as it should. Even with the message popping up I'm still able to record and stream things. What's the problem here as well?
Thank you for helping out! :)
