OBS Decklink Output 1 sec delay

Hi,

I am using a Blackmagic Design Ultrastudio 3G Monitor on an M1 Macbook Air, OBS v30.2.3

The device is connected directly to my Macbook Air by Thunderbolt cable, and I have selected it in OBS under Tools Decklink Output.

For some reason the output is showing an approximately 1 second delay from the HDMI out on the Ultrastudio into my monitor. I have tested the same hardware, and setup from Davinci Resolve, and the timeline renders from the HDMI with close to no delay.

Can anyone explain or perhaps help remove/reduce this delay, as with the specific I have, this is not going to work for me.

So from testing and experimenting, the delay appears to be 'baked in' to OBS and unrelated to frame rate etc. as I was planning to use this for a video conference setup, the delay makes it unsuitable.
