I ran up a VM of Debian to do a 24/7 live stream of my youtube content. For the most part things went smoothly. The version of OBS that installed through the included software store was a bit old at 29 but it worked, was able to add a VLC video source and point it at my file directory no issues. One thing I wanted to add to the stream was text showing the name of the file being played so I looked into Tuna as that is what was recommended. No matter what I do though Tuna will not show in OBS. I tried just copying the files into the root directory, following the steps here but no luck.
So I thought maybe its an old version of OBS so I installed the version from Flathub and ran the same steps but still nothing, but on top of that the version from Flathub does not have the VLC video source so I can not point it at my media directory and have it play through all the videos or even point it at VLC at all.
Ideally I get Tuna(or another recommended plugin/option) working in 29 and call it a day, thats all I really need.
