OBS+Dante+NVEC(New) causing sync issues

I know it's a long shot but was wondering if anyone else has had this problem.

We haven't changed settings in months and OBS has been perfect. Yesterday switched over to the NVEC New encoder after installing latest OBS update.

We currently run Dante out of our Midas M32 mixer on a dedicated gigabit switch to our streaming pc which has the Audinate Virtual Soundcard installed and the ASIO V2 plug in.

Stream started getting pops and clicks like buffer issues and then Dante just dropped out entirely. Restarted the Dante service on pc running OBS and audio came back, then dropped out entirely again a few mins later.

8 Core Ryzen, 2 GTX 1070 video cards, 32gig of ram. Uses at most 30% cpu and 50% of single gpu max.

Checked the Dante settings with the Dante Controller software and routing subscription from M32 to OBS PC showed errors with clock sync. Unrouted and rerouted, got the green check marks in Controller software and it stayed up but rest of stream but tons of pops, clicks, phasing and ducking.

Today uninstalled Dante Virtual Soundcard software, cleaned the registry, reinstalled. Same issue in OBS with Dante Controller showing excessive clock sync issues to the point of Dante completely dropping out. Switched between ASIO and WDM for Virtual Sound Card. Same result. Took all my buffer and latency settings to max. Same result.

Switched NVEC back to the old/non New NVEC and now it's solid again.

Like I said cpu and gpu usage is still reasonably low and I can't for the life of me figure out how/why NVEC would cause TCPIP audio streaming coming into the PC to drop out.
