OBS, CRF and Superfast

Really hope you can help I spent many days experimenting with different settings. I finally got my video stats to 0 frames dropped or lagging down to 0.2%.

I cannot get it to 0%. Is there an expected percentage of dropped frames either with encoding lag or dropped frames?

I am using Ultrfast
CRF 23
OUTPUT is either mp4 or MKV
264 encoder
No rescaling
60 fps
Superfast (tried very fast but no difference)
Tone: zerolatency
Profile: high
See attachment: using x264 options and zero latency quality

I tried quicksync and it was worse. I also tried stream encoder and was awful. These are my only choices

I use quicksync at ICQ 30 profile high keyframe interval 1 to get a great VMAF score. I only do x264 if using another computer to play. If your dropping frames its because your CPU bound on a single core. Might be game dependent. Close everything, try with Vsync? If that doesn't work try loading a blank profile and scene collection.

What's the specifications of your PC? I suggest not to use zero latency because it will use more threads and you will get worse result unless you have a powerful CPU. The second thing you can try is to lower the target FPS to 30. It should give you 0 frame drop. It is not necessary to record in 60 FPS for a smooth watching.
