Question / Help OBS Crashing While Simultaneous Streaming/Recording

Specs:

Windows 10
Nvidia GTX980
3770k Intel
RAM 8 GB

I have worked with OBS for a while now, but am trying simultaneous stream and recording for the first time.

Everytime I do this, the program will crash once I hit "Stop Stream" or if the stream disconnects.

The "busy" wheel will keep spinning, and the program becomes unresponsive.

I think this is a problem which occurs exclusively while Streaming + recording simultaneously, since I could have separate streaming OR recording sessions for more than 6 hours a day. But it had to be one or the other.

Is there something I am doing wrong? I am more than willing to provide whatever information is needed, however I don't know where an error log was stored, or if one was produced since I work with Matroska and the file is still accessible despite of the crash.

I hope you can help, I love the program and have been using it literally for everything (including as a PVR for OTT content) for 5 years.

Please provide the relevant crash log(s) for your issue. Press WinKey+R or go to Start > Search and type %APPDATA%\obs-studio\crashes and then press enter. Find the log with most recent timestamp on it, open it, and copy the contents to https://gist.github.com/ and then link here.
