Hi, I'm running OBS 0.15.1 for mac on a MacBook Pro (Mid 2012) running OSX 10.8.5.
I'm trying to get 1080p resolution out of my Logitech c920e. The way I'm doing this is:
- Adding a Video Capture Device
- Selecting the c920e from the list of sources
- Deselecting the "Use Preset" check box
- For resolution, choosing "1920x1080"
- For frame rate, choosing "Simple FPS Values"
... but as soon as I select "30" from the next list, OBS crashes.

The same happens when I select any of the other frame rates, even if I set the resolution at 1280x720.
I have no idea what the "Rational FPS Values" mean, so I haven't tried anything there.
The cam seem to work perfectly if I just use the 1280x720 preset.
I'd love to get HD quality out of the cam, because I know it can do it! Any advice would be great. :)
