obs 0.16.2 is crashing on Xubuntu 16.04 when i go to settings output output mode set to advanced and then go over to recording and change the encoder to x264 it instantly crashes obs

yeah pretty much i dunno what they did but something that got changed is whats causing it

Yep. seeing this as well. I pulled code from head last week, and it was working fine. One thing that might help the devs is if we can find the last commit that is known to work. I'm unfortunately don't have access to my streaming computer at the moment to check myself. Will try in the next few days. It has to be one of the more recent changes, and there aren't too many that went in.
