OBS crashing/shutting down mid-stream

Hello,

I'm new here and was hoping someone could help point me in the right direction. I've been streaming with my current setup for about a year and thankfully have had pretty much no issues. However, for the past month now, OBS has been crashing randomly in the middle of my streams. It started with a stream I hosted on February 11th, where the software randomly crashed about 2 hours and 17 minutes in. After that, it's been randomly happening about two times per stream.

Now, as of last night's stream, the problem has intensified and the software is crashing repeatedly (I lost count of how many times, but at least 5 crashes occurred last night). I tried uploading my logs to the log analyzer tool, and it only gave me two warnings (Capture Interface and Multiple Game Capture), both of which I've already addressed. That just leaves my crash logs. Would anyone here be able to take a look at those and let me know if they say anything about what's causing the crashes? Any help would be very much appreciated!

If it helps, here are my current specs:
Dell Inspiron 5505
Processor AMD Ryzen 7 4700U with Radeon Graphics (2.00 GHz)
Installed RAM 16.0 GB (15.4 GB usable)
System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

I'm also currently using one third party plugin (obs_google_caption_plugin). It's never given me any issues before, but I'm willing to uninstall it if it has anything to do with the crashes.

Looks like one of your video capture devices is buffering infinitely and OBS is running out of memory. What kind of capture devices are you using?

Oh wow! I wasn't expecting the capture card to be the problem. I'm using a Genki Shadowcast 2 Pro. Been using it to stream since October 2024, but the crashes have only been happening for the past month. Could it be going bad? xD Thanks again for your reply!

Hello! I just wanted to follow up on the answer I received above. I checked the properties of my video capture source (Shadowcast 2 Pro), and it looks like Buffering is set to "Disable". Would it help if I change that? Also, Resolution/FPS type is set to "Custom" (with the custom resolution and framerate being 1920x1080 and 60 FPS, respectively). These are the settings I've had since I started streaming in October 2024, but would it help to change "Custom" to "Device default"? Thanks in advance for any insight anyone can provide here! The crashing has been happening for almost 2 months now, so I'm desperate to fix it once and for all ^_^;
