Question / Help Obs crashing saying "Woops OBS Crashed"

It crashes at initialization of the amd-vce encoder.
  • in case you installed the amd-vce encoder plugin for OBS, remove it. Then remove OBS as well, and reinstall OBS to get a clean installation of OBS. The current version of OBS comes with that encoder integrated. You don't need the extra installation of the amd-vce encoder. The installation of the extra encoder overwrites the internal version and is making OBS crash.
  • download and install the newest AMD graphics driver from the AMD website

how do you remove the amd-vce encoder, also i dont have a amd-vce driver. is there any other way
