Question / Help OBS crashing/resetting monitor after using capture card for a while

It's not very consistent, but after streaming for several hours the other night I had a few crashes that would kill my stream/my monitor would black out for a few moments, then reset all of my windows to my other monitor.

I'm not sure exactly what the problem is, as a similar thing has now happened with both the internal Elgato HD60 Pro and the Avermedia LGX.

I have two logs from two different crashes, hopefully someone has an idea as to what the problem is! It's quite the predicament.

I'm not sure how to post two logs in one post, so I'll post the second one here. Apologies!

Both logs you posted are identical and only captures about 4 minutes worth of activity (did you select current log file instead of last?). Your issue sounds like it might be a memory leak since it occurs over time and the end of the log stating 10 memory leaks over a short amount of time is fairly suspect.

Try to get better logs by following the steps outlined in this thread by isolating and loading only a single suspected problem source within a single scene with all sound devices disabled. If problems only occur when using the scene that contains your capture device, then it might be an issue with the dshow_input source since the only other source in that scene (browser_source) is used in all other scenes that I am assuming you have no other issues with.

Oh jeese. I really did upload the same one, well now I feel silly. Hopefully this is what would help detail the issue a bit better.

I'll do some tinkering and see if I can recreate the issue. Thanks for the heads up!
