OBS Crashing. Nvenc Error

Hi there,

I have had a couple of consistent crashes today when streaming Hitman 3. Initally the cutscenes were causing a crash. I disabled Hardware accelerated GPU scheduling in Windows 11 and this solved the cutscene crash, but then OBS crashed out completely after that with a message regarding an nvenclockbitstream error.

I have enclosed my log for this. I'm not quite sure what is going on.

I assume you have also checked to make sure your GPU driver is fully up to date? Lots of cases, the Nvenc errors are caused by bad drivers or out of date drivers.

This is a hardware error. May be overclocking, overheating, insufficient power supply, defective hardware, incompatibility GPU/mainboard.

I've got an RTX 3080 paired with a 5800X and a 850w Corsair PSU so I'm not sure what's going wrong. Everything is base clocked.

Since going to Windows 11 I had nothing but trouble. Its not hardware or software its Windows 11 that's the problem.

On my old Win 10 install had zero issues with OBS and NVENC with any game. Then I did a clean install of Win 10 last November which up versioned the windows kernel to the one that's basically the same as 11 and that's unleashed the bugs, I tried going to 11 to see if that would help but its the same, seriously considering looking for an older win10 iso now.
