My iMac has crashed loads of times when using OBS with NDI.
I can use it without crashing on it's own to record videos but when I connect NDI to bring in a Skype call, it works to begin with then freezes my whole iMac except for a repeated sound (the last sound/voice that was made before the freeze) and I have to turn the machine off and back on again.
I have NDI Video monitor and NDI Virtual input turned on, am I right in needing both of those active and no other NDI apps?
I've trashed OBS and NDI and re-downloaded them (strangely my OBS settings are retained even though I used Appdelete to completely wipe out any trace)
but it froze again. As far as I know it's all set up correctly but I'm no expert.
If it helps, a few seconds after the freeze the computer fan gradually gets louder until the Mac totally shuts down.
It has been known to shut down when mastering videos on Final Cut Pro X, but I think thats a FCPX issue. The same thing happens with the fan then.
There's definitely something happening between OBS and NDI though.
I've attached 2 log files, I'm not sure which one is when the crash happened but it definitely happened around those times.
