Question / Help OBS crashing every few minutes/hours?

Last couple days/weeks or so, OBS Studio crashes during my streams, when it hasn't had issues before?

x264 crashes generally indicate unstable overclocking, outdated CPU microcode (update your BIOS) or hardware failure (CPU / RAM).

My CPU isn't overclocked at all, though, and my CPU is fairly new, as is my RAM. It's been working fine until this week, and I don't think anything major has changed with my computer, hardware or software

Update: Just crashed again after ~50 minutes.

If it's an x264 crash, is there a setting I could change to prevent it?

Look for microcode updates (BIOS fixes) from manufacturer if any. Then you need to test your hardware and finally ask for replacement.
