Bug Report OBS Crashing "cef-boostrap.exe stopped working"

For some reason, when I'm streaming using my Elgato Game Capture HD, twitch alerts going off will cause my OBS to crash. When I disable my Elgato HD60, twitch alerts does not crash my stream. I only use my elgato when I'm streaming console games, but it's ruined some streams of mine after I got big hosts. I'd really like to know what's going on.

I never have issues when I'm streaming from my PC. It only happens when I'm using my elgato HD capture card. I'm not sure what's going on so I posted my logs in hopes of getting some ideas on how to fix it. I did try reinstalling OBS with no resolution.

Have you tried updating OBS? you're on an old version.

Also, cef-bootstrap is the browser source. If you're not using browser source, you can try uninstalling and reinstalling without it.

I updated to the latest version since this post and it still crashed. Here's the latest crash report.

Twitch chat, twitch event, and twitch alerts streamlabs URLs via the browser plugin. I can reproduce the issue at will. It seems to be when bits are donated through my stream and the bits alerts from Twitch alerts pops up...that causes my obs to crash.

I would reach out to Streamlabs and see if they have any ideas. Since the crash is happening inside the browser source, it's really difficult for us to see what's going on.

Same thing is happening to me, just with bits (since the affiliate update).

I emailed Streamlabs support, and it seems they're pointing the finger at OBS. They claim it has to do with the Browser Source feature and it isn't anything on their end.

People have started just donating 1 bit at a time to try and crash the stream so it's super frustrating on my end
