Hello, I've been dealing with continual OBS crashes for about 3 weeks, sometimes OBS is fine other times its not.
I am able to stream for 2+ hours using PCVR but for some reason playing normal games with OBS seems to create issues - and up until now I've streamed with no issues for over a year using my current setup.
I have attached the logs from the most recent versions I tried, 30.1.2 and 30.2.2
I've done the following:
- Uninstalled and reinstalled OBS
- rolled back my OBS to a blank, new profile with no scenes or overlays
- reinstalled a fresh install of Windows
- reinstalled/repaired C++ Redistributable
- Rolled back to a previous version of OBS
- Tried running OBS through Steam only
- Running OBS as administrator
Trying each one of these changes still resulted in a crash about 30 minutes into stream, and then subsequent crashes every extremely quickly after that initial crash.

My suspicion: This could be due to audio drivers? The only difference between my streams in VR vs PC would be that I use a wireless mic in VR, and I use my ShureSM7B when not in VR. However, this isn't really a sure thing either since I have also used my Shure mic in VR instead of my wireless mic before and no crashes at that time.
