OBS "crashes" when stopping the replay buffer

Hi,
been using OBS Studio for a while, unfortunately after updating to the latest version (I think I have been using kinda old one before maybe like 27.X.XX) it appears my replay buffer feature is not working correctly. Usually when using this feature i do play ETS2 and want to capture some moments with it, but when i start the replay buffer it works fine, but after a while, the source (the game) in the OBS Studio is stationary - frozen and the replay buffer just stops working - I can't save the last X seconds of recording, either the button I have bound for saving the footage doesn't work or the button in the OBS doesn't work either.

At that moment, when trying to stop the replay buffer, it just goes into "Stopping the replay buffer" but it actually never does. The only solution is to force close the application.

This always happens after some time, the streaming works fine - did several long stream (2+ hours) with OBS recently and no issues there. Recording might work properly aswell, but have not tested that fully.

I have tried to start the OBS in Safe mode, that doesn't help either. I was trying to look for some crash logs/reports, but apparently when closing the app forcefully, it does not create any.

I have also tried searching up some info regarding this and maybe see if other people had this issue and while it is true that people experienced this in the past (1-2 years ago) there is not much information on any recent takes, but there was a guy on these forums (probably, not sure) to try and lower the quality of the saved clips in the Replay Buffer options, which did not work unfortunately.

I will try to downgrade few versions, i remember the last one without issue for me was when the Audio Application Capture was released in Beta mode.

Any suggestions on what this might be caused by or atleast how to make OBS save the logs would be very nice. Thanks
