Question / Help OBS crashes when I try streaming or recording...

So I recently downloaded OBS studio because i wanted to try streaming. I got my settings setup and every thing but when I click start streaming or start recording i get an error message and obs crashes:

Thanks for the help Harold but unfortunately it did not work. I still get an error code. I'm not sure if this is the same as the first error code.

What encoder have you chosen to use?

TBH idk what an encoder is... i also dont think i use one

OBS won't let you "not use" an encoder.
You're either using x264, QSV or the AMD encoder.

Try with x264 instead
