Bug Report OBS Crashes One Second After Being Opened - Please help!

Hey Everyone,

For some reason today I went to stream but when I opened OBS it showed the OBS screen for a second then crashed. The menu then popped up that said ignore, send a report to apple, or reopen. When I reopened, it did the same exact thing as before.

Try uninstalling it using this way(if you don't know where it is,it's number #16),then re-install it back.

Update if it doesn't work.

Unfortunately after trying what you suggested the problem still persists. Is there anything else I can try to get it back up and running? Some of my viewers are getting confused about where I am :(

So I tried to open OBS on a guest account on my Mac and it worked fine as far as I can tell (besides the fact that all my scenes are gone). However, when I tried switching back to my normal administrator account it still crashed a second after being opened. Is there anything else I can try?

Try to delete all of the scenes in the admin account.You know,just really fast clicking.Click a random scene and delete it quickly.If the problem still persists,repeat until all scenes are gone.

Hey Amysar,

I believe you have found the problem, but there is an issue. I recall when I was setting up the day it crashed I tried to add a browser source for the spotify song and as soon as I did the entire app crashed. So, I think being able to delete the scene that has it will resolve this issue. However, the app is crashing so fast after opening that I don't have the chance to click on a scene and then click the delete button. Is there code that I can use to delete the scene outside of OBS itself?
