Question / Help OBS crashes on scene switches

Hi all,

For the past couple weeks OBS has been crashing when I do scene switches. It seems to only happen when I'm streaming (I can't duplicate it off stream). It also seems to happen on scenes where a source is a mp4 video.

The end of the log file says this when it crashed:

22:28:35.692: User switched to scene 'Outro'
22:28:35.754: Device Remove/Reset! Rebuilding all assets...

There was no crash file generated, but I attached a crash file from a day before when a crash occurred. Any help is appreciated!

I'm on the most recent version of OBS Studio, 17.0

I think you have several "game capture" that cause the issue.

I think you have several "game capture" that cause the issue.

I added the log file to my original post.

"game capture" might be referring to my capture card, I'll look at my scenes and see if where I'm using it.

Anyway, remove custom setting
scenecut=0

and try.
