Please provide the latest crash report of today. Those are log files, not crash reports.
Look in Help menu in order to get directly to the crash report folder.

Make sure OBS is intalled at c:\program files\ and not in c:\program files (x86)\ like it is now. It should work as is but you never know.
Also, you're using streamelements plugin which caused issues to other people as well.

And I don't understand this part of the log:
Code:
======================================================================
Additional stack info:

obs is still loading some streamelements libraries.
Code:
00007FFAADFE0000-00007FFAADFE9000 C:\Program Files (x86)\obs-studio\obs-plugins\64bit\obs-streamelements-core.dll

what happens if you change to a different scene collection. you should make a new collection for testing.

and being installed in the (x86) folder won't make any difference. it is primarily where 32bit applications would be installed. but it is all just drive space.

well OBS installed in just regular program files now and I still have streamelements overlays in my scenes, so I just can't use streamelements????? I don't know if that is even what is causing the crashes because it worked fine yesterday. As soon as I selected another scene collection, OBS crashed again. Like I said before, all worked fine yesterday. Cray sauce... Thanks for any help.

i am not saying that you can't use it, but the goal right now is to get a stable installation of OBS then work on reestablishing your plugins.

Alright. so don't use any streamelements overlays or browser sources is what you're saying?? I uninstalled streamelements so i guess those libraries are from the overlays???

correct. for the time being you want to get a very vanilla installation of OBS up and running with at least a couple of scenes and media sources. but no plugins.

i recommend you start by completely removing streamelements and all associated files (from program files, program files (x86), and %appdata%) (make sure that you remove all plugins or 3rd party filters/addons you may be using. not just streamelements if applicable)

verify the problem still exists. if yes, continue. if not. you know what the problem is.

first create a new scene collection in OBS, create a couple of scenes add some sources. can you switch scenes as you would expect or does the problem persist? if it still is a problem there may be an issue with your installation of OBS and you may need to start over, make a backup of the %appdata%\obs-studio folder and, if you can, use the export option on the scene collection menu in OBS to export your main scene collection. then uninstall OBS. delete any remaining OBS folders from the %appdata% folder (not the backup you just made) and reinstall OBS. once this is complete repeat the same steps as before make a couple of scenes add some sources and verify. if all is working now, use the import tool and import your scenes from the backups. hopefully after this all will be working again and you can begin to add your plugins, but be sure to add them one at a time, restart and verify that everything still works each time.

I will just uninstall OBS with all settings and what not. I don't care about the scenes, I can re do those...i just don't get it when it all worked 2 days ago with no issues. There are plug ins that say they work on the working plug in list and i have to use. Streamlabs OBS never has these issues. Don't want to use it but might have to. Thanks for the help.

Streamelements seems to be the issue, idk why it would just crash OBS though when it use to work fine...SO i have to just not use streamelements until they can update???

You don't need streamelements plugin in order to use their services. You can even add custom docks linking to streamelemets chat and activity feed.
If you still want to use it, contact them for support. It's their plugin after all.

True, but I didn't install their plug in this time...just tried to use some of streamelements overlays in my scenes as a browser source and then OBS kept crashing so I am now starting completely over with a fresh install of OBS, again... Going to try and find other overlays maybe even pay for nerd or die or something lol. Thanks
