Hi all, my wife and I have been using OBS for over a year and a half at this point and we'd rarely have any issues at all, but recently there have been severe problems.
<back story>: A few days ago, out of the blue, when I changed a scene with scene collection or profile it would crash, and after hours of fruitless troubleshooting and researching (but not posting to the OBS forums), I uninstalled OBS including user settings to start from scratch. I currently only have an extremely basic OBS set up (settings for broadcasting, one scene collection, and two scenes, one for soon and one for the actual broadcast). However over the past two days, OBS has had some fatal issues, day one after uninstall/reinstall I couldn't access the ONLY scene collection (it created a default one that it put me on), when I checked the basic>scenes>LWLMAIN json file, it was 50kb's of 0000000. I just made a new scene collection and now when I launch it , OBS now just crashes instantly upon launch (obs64.exe has stopped working pop up). We haven't installed any new software or even games in the past month, I can't imagine what the issue is since we haven't made any unusual changes, and we'd really appreciate some help and feedback on resolving this issue. Thank you <3
I'm using OBS x 64 , OBS studio, here are some specs:
+ CPU – Intel Core i7-6700K 4.0GHz Quad-Core Processor
+ Motherboard – Asus Z170-A ATX LGA1151 Motherboard
+ Memory – Corsair Dominator Platinum 32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR4-3000 Memory
+ Video Card – EVGA GeForce GTX 980 Ti 6GB HYBRID Video Card
