[22:04] <Verdictator> Hey guys - I have a question. My stream will crash on my Late 2013 iMac running OSX 10.10 on OBS0.5.1 upon the starting on the source of my webcam. Any ideas?
[22:04] <Verdictator> My stream will run fine, and then bam. Dies as soon as I turn on my webcam.
[22:04] <Verdictator> It will crash the client unexpectidely.
[22:05] <TheReal_c3r1c3> Verdictator, What is the resolution that the webcam is set to in OBS?
[22:06] <TheReal_c3r1c3> Verdictator, Also has the webcam ever worked? i.e. were you running OSX 10.9 and then switched to 10.10 and started having trouble?
[22:07] <Verdictator> I tried all sorts of resolutions. Highest to lowest. And to your second question; I wouldn't be able to answer. I ran Win8.1 before on an AMD machine, and when I got my iMac I immediately went to the beta for Yosemite.
[22:07] <Verdictator> I am not sure how to show you my logs, but If you can direct me to them - I will supply.

[22:07] <DontaPoint> This will probably help a lot

[22:08] <Verdictator> that one doesn't seem to show a crash report
[22:08] <DontaPoint> Instead of upload
[22:08] <DontaPoint> click analyze mate
[22:08] <TheReal_c3r1c3> Verdictator, I would do 2 things. One open a issue in the forums. 2. don't run a beta OS with beta software not testing on said beta OS software and expect things to work ;-)
[22:09] <TheReal_c3r1c3> Let me rewrite that last statement
[22:09] <TheReal_c3r1c3> 1.
[22:09] <DontaPoint> Verdictator, I would actually keep on streaming without turning my webcam on :)
[22:09] <TheReal_c3r1c3> 1. Open an issue on the forums.
[22:09] <Verdictator> This is one with the crash log
[22:09] <Verdictator> https://gist.github.com/anonymous/cf57141b09051c10eb99
[22:09] <TheReal_c3r1c3> 2. Don't run a beta OS with Beta software, esp. when said beta software isn't verified or tested to run on said Beta OS.
[22:10] <Verdictator> So what do I do then? Just submit a forum post?
[22:10] <TheReal_c3r1c3> Verdictator, Yeap. That's about the only thing you can do... nuless you know how to code. ;-)
[22:11] <Rodney> You can also just wait and see if your issue magically gets solved in a later version
[22:11] <Verdictator> Ain't nobody got time for that ;-)
[22:11] <Verdictator> Forum post it is! thanks friends!
If anyone needs anymore information, let me know and I'll see what I can do. I am not sure if that's enough information, but hey! It's worth a shot!
Cheers,
-Vedictator
